THE PROCEDURE:
Install catching cart between two benches or at the end of
the ramp. Clamp the Inclined Plane to the bench and place
all three weights at the other end on the cross bar. Choose
a disc-hoop set of equal mass. Position them at
the top of the inclined plane. Release both at the
same time. The disc will reach the bottom of the plane
before the hoop. Why? Show that a sphere will be
faster than any discs or hoops.
Compare discs with different mass distributions.
