THE PROCEDURE:
The plate rotates at a constant angular velocity.
Place a stopper close to the center of the plate. Show
that it remains at rest on the plate. Gradually move
it closer to the edge. At a certain distance from the
center of the plate, the stopper will slide off the
plate. Repeat the procedure with a stopper of
different weight.
