Driving this car home was likely
the scariest thing that I have done in a very long time. The brakes where
so soft, that there were time I didn't know if the car would even stop
and the steering was just terrible. Most of the time I had to cost
to a stop and there must have been 15 degrees of play in the column.
It felt like the car was all over the road, but we had power that 440 was
nice. We had to stop several time on the way back because of these problems
and I was dame glad that my wife was right behind me. The trip was just
over 100 miles and it took us over 2 hours. That short trip just wiped
me. I couldn't believe how tired I was afterwards.
However the two of them, the 300 and the New Yorker, look good together.
